Engineering Services SKILLcard and the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Industry Board (ACRIB) offer a joint
registration scheme aimed at integrating the requirements of the ACRIB Register of Refrigerant Handling Operatives
with those of SKILLcard.
-
The white Construction Related Occupation (CRO) ACRIB/SKILLcard is designed for registering Operatives
competent to handle refrigerants.
-
The blue or gold Engineering Services ACRIB/SKILLcard is designed for those who hold S/NVQ level qualifications
in addition to their refrigerant handling certificates.
The objective of the scheme is to provide independent verification that the holder has demonstrated competence in
handling of various refrigerants as well as health and safety. The cards will also display any additional relevant
qualifications including the new carbon dioxide and hydrocarbon certificates.
