SKILLcard Endorsements Move Online

Tuesday, August 16, 2022 12:29 PM

As part of the ongoing drive to make applying for an essential SKILLcard more streamlined, the employer endorsements required for card applications are now fully digital.

This latest development means endorsers can say goodbye to having to print off forms, sign in ink and then send back to SKILLcard. Endorsers now simply receive a link via email and can complete their endorsement with a digital signature in a fraction of the time.

Rachel Davidson, Director of Certification said of the change, ‘We are constantly striving to improve the service we offer those working in the building engineering services sector. Obtaining a valid SKILLcard is essential for this sector to be able to access sites proving their skills, qualifications and occupation. The quicker we can turn applications around, the better.’

Digital signatures for SKILLcard endorsers are being rolled out from 6th July.

SKILLcard is the industry-recognised card issuing and personnel registration scheme for people working in the mechanical sector of building engineering services industry throughout the UK, with over 64,000 card holders.
